so i have recently become obsessed
with a delightful summery treat
entitled... the snow cone.
growing up, i adored snow cones.
watermelon was my standard flavor of choice,
but every once in a while,
i'd go for pineapple.
when i was really feeling wild,
i'd get tigers blood!
well, with this hot streak
currently running through texas,
my childhood memories are coming back.
and i've discovered BAHAMA BUCKS!
the greatest snow cone chain EVER.
i will drive 15 minutes to lewisville,
just for a bahama bucks orange snow cone with cream.
also known as, a little piece of heaven.
on my way i have discovered that flowermound
is my untapped resource.
oh summer 2008 should be very interesting!

This is too funny. We just go to the red nameless snow cone stand on Main St. in Saginaw. My daughter's discovered it two years ago and voted it "THE BEST SNOW CONE STAND EVER!" So, we wait all those months from October to May when the little red stand shows back up conspicously near the Shell station and Storage Works... Then we pounce!
We love snow cones at our house, too. Even if I don't like eatin' - I'll definitely have a snow cone!
Lewisville is a bit of a stretch for this N. Fort Worth Gal... so I will have to stick with my little red stand on Main St. It has no name, but the sweetest little lady and her granddaughter run it. They know our orders by heart - well except my Taylor - she is a bit random.
